Ban Pregnancy: A funny brand of “feminism”

THREE DAYS AGO WHEN some Americans and Europeans dragged my sexy black ass 😍😍 all over Twitter for making a post about the circumcision of a male child, I tried hard not to take their rants to heart.

You know why?

Some of these guys are the same people who wake up everyday and want to redefine how everyone else should think or live their lives, all in the name of LIBERALISM. They don’t just drum up new ideologies, but some go as far as heckling you to adopt and live by a product of their own thoughts, especially the crazy thoughts.

The male circumcision saga was just a mere example. Therefore I don’t take these radical ideologies seriously at all.

Every new day, you hear of online activists advocating for the most bizarre causes you can think of. Recently, a group came online advocating for PAEDOPHILIA, claiming it is nothing wrong.

Paedophilia? Seriously?

Those minority, it must be said, don’t by any means define America or other Americans who know far better than that.

While there is nothing wrong with championing new ideologies, sometimes it starts to get ridiculous.

Recently, a popular American activist made this tweet [see attached photo], advocating for the banning of pregnancy cos it enslaves women. [The account is said to be a parody account, but with a massive followership of over 500k]. I dunno whether it was a tongue-in-cheek tweet, but taking a look at the tweeter’s kind of tweets, I doubt.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ban pregnancy cos it enslaves women. Seriously? Can you beat that level of over-the-top feminism?

To top it off, some of the commenters on the tweet actually agreed with her; while a good number called her out for being high on some stimulant drug. How long before such a belief attracts more disciples and becomes a movement?

Before you know it, some Nigerian online “feminists” with little knowledge of real feminism will start yelling for the government to ban pregnancy cos it subjugates women. After all, we’ve seen them advocate for #WifeNotCook and #No_Kneeling_To_Serve_Hubby_Drink_During_Traditional_Wedding.

You know we are very good at copying Oyinbo people.

Ban ko, pregnancy ni!

😀😀😀😀

E no get wetin person no go see for this life.

I love Americans same way I love the rest of humanity, but posts like this make me want to laugh my head off.

Remember:

+++Impossibility is nothing. Just believe+++
