THIS WEEK HAD BEEN the WORLD MENTAL HEALTH WEEK (18 – 24 May). And the theme is: KINDNESS.
It is a call for everyone of us to show kindness to ourselves and to others. We live in a world where people don’t care about others anymore. We are all striving so hard we forget to show kindness to ourselves or others
You do not have to move the world for yourself or others, ordinary little acts of kindness here and there could go a long way.
~ Call or message someone to check up on them
~ Help a sick friend do some chores
~ Hold the door out for an elderly person, etc.
These things are small, but the gesture is what matters.
You can show yourself some kindness by taking time to rest, relax, or even do some exercise your body desperately needs.
Show kindness today.
